Once upon...

an evening boring, while I pondered bored yet pensive,
Over many a strange and intriguing page of neglected blogs.
Swiftly, my mind began thinking, thinking of creating
A place of solace, of mapping of my thoughts and creations.
So welcome dear guests, if my words entice you.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

Tsubasa Reservoir ChronicleOfficial Japanese Title: ツバサ-RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE-, Tsubasa -Rezaboa Kuronikuru
Other Titles: Chronicle of the Wings, Tsubasa, Tsubasa Chronicle
Genre: Adventure, Fantasy, Romance, Drama, Bishounen, Mystery
Demographic: Shōnen
Director: Kōichi Mashimo
Studio: Bee Train
Manga Author: CLAMP
Manga Publisher: Kodansha (Japan), Del Rey (U.S. and Canada)
Original run: May 2003 – ongoing
Age rating: unknown, probably G
Plot: A boy named Syaoran is a close childhood friend of Sakura, the Princess of Clow Country. He studies archeology and he is called upon to investigate mysterious ruins in the desert of Clow Country. One night, a mysterious occurrence at the ruins causes Sakura to sprout wings. Her wing feathers scatter throughout the universe, each holding a portion of her memories. Syaoran makes the important decision to retrieve those feathers and restore Sakura’s memories as she cannot live without them. As though traveling through different worlds is not enough, as a price for traveling, Sakura will never recover her memories of her beloved Syaoran. Traveling with Syaoran and Sakura are Kurogane of Japan Country and Fai of Celes Country who travel for different reasons. Kurogane travels because he was exiled from his country by Princess Tomoyo. He wants to return to Japan somehow. Fai travels because he wants to run away from his King whom he put under a sleeping spell. They each payed a price to Yuuko the Dimensional Witch in order to jouney with Mokona (white) who has the power to cross dimensions.

One distinguishing feature of Tsubasa is the shear number of crossover characters from animes such as Chobits, X/1999, Magic Knight Rayearth, RG Veda, and of course Cardcaptor Sakura. These crossovers are by no means the original characters themselves but people of an Alternate Universe.

Setting: The story takes place in many different Countries in different Dimensions. For a list of the places and more information about them, I recommend visiting this page. I’m unsure of the time period this story takes place in, and I’m guessing this is irrelevant when time is different in the different worlds.
