Summer plans
This summer I’m taking an easy math course (finite math) at Bradley University where my father teaches industrial engineering. This class should boost my GPA a bit as well as helping me gain more self confidence. There are only four students in the class, and the professor/instructor is pretty good at teaching. She doesn’t leave out steps when working out example problems and she is easy to follow.
I got braces last Thursday. My mouth is still somewhat sore, but not unbearably sore. The top row of teeth have clear covers whereas the bottom has silver covers.
I’m exercising more, taking walks every day, climbing stairs, doing situps. I dare say I feel more energized and alert.

Braces at this time of life? I’ve never had them because I heard it hurts…
So the benefits of exercise that I hear about are true after all.
Braces at this age? Don’t most people get them in middle school. I was lucky to have only had a retainer when I was very young.
The class sounds good. If only all teachers would teach like that.
