Once upon...

an evening boring, while I pondered bored yet pensive,
Over many a strange and intriguing page of neglected blogs.
Swiftly, my mind began thinking, thinking of creating
A place of solace, of mapping of my thoughts and creations.
So welcome dear guests, if my words entice you.

Download Free Music on Google

I searched for Google hacks on YouTube and came across one for downloading free music on Google. I decided to share this hack with you.

  1. Go to Google and type this in the search bar:
    intitle:”index.of”(mp3|mp4|avi)song.name -html -php -htm -asp
Enter a song name where it says song.name.
The -html -php etc is so those file types will not appear in the search. We only want music files.
  2. Hit enter and you should find some music files.
  3. If you want to save this code so you don’t have to keep typing it every time you want to download music, hit “Ctrl B” > right click > new bookmark.
  4. Type “Index Directory” as the name. Type “music” as the keyword. Copy and paste the URL as the location. Then replace the song title with %s.
The URL should look something like this when you’re done editing:
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=intitle%3A%22index.of%22%28mp3%7C mp4%7Cavi%29%s+-html+-php+-htm+-asp&btnG=Search
  5. When you want to search for music, type this in the address bar:
“music song.title” without the quotations. Enter the song title where it says “song.title”.

This short cut only works in Mozilla Firefox. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
